Satus® Brand YCR 7 cv. is a bittering-type cultivar of recent origin.

Agronomics
Moderate tolerance to powdery mildew, Spaerotheca.  Fair to good pickability of a medium size cone.

Maturity: Medium
Yield: 2830 - 2940 kgs. per ha.
2450 - 2550 lbs. per acre

Brewing Quality
Used for its bittering and aromatic  properties - similar to Galena.

Alpha acids: 12.5 - 14.0%
Beta acids: 8.5-9.0%
Alpha:Beta Ratio: 1.5
Cohumulone (% of alpha acids): 32-35%
   
Total Oil (Mls. per 100 grams): 1.5-2.8
Caryophyllene (as % of total oils): 7-10%
Farnesene (as % of total oils): 0%
Humulene (as % of total oils): 15-20%
Myrcene (as % of total oils): 40-45%

Storability is fair to good.
