Return To Grower

Return-To-Grower

Yakima Chief Hops has a unique grower return model that reinvests the majority of hop sales back into family farms, enabling long-term stability, continuous improvement, and uncompromising quality.
A Business Model Rooted in Helping Family Farms Thrive

Return-To-Grower (RTG) is more than just a financial model; it’s a commitment to our farms. Each year, regardless of market conditions, we return, on average, 75% of our income to our grower network. This approach provides the financial security needed to invest in their operations, improve infrastructure, and use advanced farming technologies to support soil health and improve water efficiency.

Reinvesting in Farms and Families

Returning value to our farms allows growers to reinvest in infrastructure, safety programs, and the generational support needed to strengthen our family farms and elevate hop quality across the entire supply chain.
