Green Bullet

A dual-purpose, seedless triploid hop with spicy dried fruit and citrus aroma characteristics. Released in 1972 from the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited hop breeding program, Green Bullet™ was developed from Smoothcone variety, which has both North American and European ancestry. A 'brewery workhorse,' Green Bullet™ is widely considered a flagship in the New Zealand brewing industry and is recognized as a cornerstone variety for the iconic NZ beer Steinlager.
