Aged Hops Blend

Aged Hops are whole-leaf hops carefully aged to meet the specifications required for brewing wild ales, including traditional Belgian styles such as Lambic. Recognizing the need for a consistent, high-quality supply with reliable analytics, YCH developed a controlled aging process after years of research and experimentation. This includes specialized aging chambers designed to replicate the environment of a traditional Belgian “hop loft,” where hops have historically been aged.

Using temperature and humidity monitoring alongside optimized airflow, the process blends innovation with tradition to produce a validated, consistent product. Only select hop varieties are chosen for the Aged Hops program based on their suitability and aging characteristics, and they are closely monitored through both sensory evaluation and laboratory analysis to ensure quality throughout the aging cycle.
