Pacifica™ Brand - NZ Hops
Pacifica™ is a New World aroma hop, defined by its dried-fruit, floral, woody and herbal citrus (lemon), suitable for use in lager, pilsner, and ale-type beers, especially when combined with other hops as a late addition during brewing. Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited hop breeding program and released in 1993, Pacifica™ has both European and North American ancestry. It has a classic aroma-hop chemistry profile with low cohumulone and low alpha-acid content, and high levels of humulene essential oils.
