Veterans Blend

The Veterans Blend is an annual hop blend created in collaboration with U.S. military Veterans in the brewing community, who help select the hops and choose a Veteran-focused nonprofit to receive proceeds. Since 2018, sales of the blend have raised over $175,000 for organizations supporting the nation's Veterans. The Yakima Chief Hops Veterans Blend changes composition each year, when Veterans working in the beer industry assess different hop samples at the Craft Brewers Conference.

Crop year 2025 Veterans Blend is composed of Krush®, HBC 1134, Idaho 7®, and Citra®, making it ready to serve in any hop-forward beer! This blend offers strong stone fruit and tropical flavors, with subtle undertones of woody, herbal, and floral aromas. Yakima Chief Hops donates $1 for every pound of Veterans Blend sold to a Veteran-focused non-profit. The organization changes each year and is selected by Veterans working in the brewing industry when the blend is selected.
