Wai-iti™ Brand - NZ Hops
Wai-iti™ is a New World aroma variety, excellent for late additions in the brewing process, with its lush, fragrant stonefruit, lemongrass and herbal characters complementing its citrus aromas in beers. Wai-iti™ delivers high oil content relative to its low alpha acids, lending itself to brewing versatility. Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited hop breeding program and released in 2011, Wai-iti™ has both European and North American ancestry. It is a seedless triploid variety that is proving useful in many beer styles, particularly when combined with other varieties.
