Riwaka™ Brand - NZ Hops

Riwaka™ is a seedless triploid aroma variety with arguably the widest aroma profile within the NZ stable of hop varieties, more commonly associated with lime and grapefruit with passion fruit, floral, diesel, cracker, tropical, spice and prune characters. Riwaka™ is a great workhorse in the brewery, where it can be used on both the hot and cold sides, either on its own or in combination with other varieties. It is well-suited for use alongside well-known North American varieties, giving beers a real boost to flavors and aroma. Riwaka™ was developed by the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited hop breeding program and released in 1996. It has both European (Saaz) and North American ancestry and is best suited for IPA and hoppy ale beer styles.
