Superdelic® Brand - NZ Hops

The oil chemistry profile of this hop is totally unique in flavors and aromas. Superdelic® has a real depth of flavours encompasses light tropical, red berry, candy, guava, floral, lemon peel and sweet aromatics. Superdelic® is a distinctive triploid hop variety developed from a cross made in 2012 through a collaborative breeding program with the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited led by Dr. Ron Beatson. With both European and North American lineage, it brings together diverse genetic influences, resulting in an exceptionally expressive aroma profile. Revealing vibrant berry fruit characteristics in early pilot brewing trials, Superdelic® was fast-tracked into the NZ Hops trial hop farm program in 2017 due to its standout chemistry and sensory potential. True to its name, it is a playful and dynamic variety. The result is a uniquely versatile hop that gives brewers a creative tool for crafting beers with bright, unconventional, and highly expressive flavour profiles.
