For the eighth year, Yakima Chief Hops (YCH) has partnered with the Pink Boots Society, to create an impact-driven hop blend for the entire industry to enjoy! YCH will donate $1 from each pound sold to the Pink Boots Society in support of its mission to provide career development and educational opportunities for women and non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry.
YCH partnered with women-owned farms within our network of growers to assist with the blend’s creation. Jessica Riel of Double ‘R’ Farms, Reggie Brulotte of Brulotte Farms, and Erica Lorentz of Lakeside Ranches each hand-selected their favorite lots from the 2024 harvest to be featured. The 8th Annual Blend consists of Krush™, Simcoe®, Mosaic®, and Chinook!
