The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations. Primary duties typically include Developing Safety Policies: Creating and implementing safety programs, procedures, and policies tailored to the organization’s operations. Conducting Inspections: Performing regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Training and Education: Providing safety training and resources to employees to promote awareness and understanding of workplace safety practices. Incident Management: Investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring the organization complies with occupational health and safety regulations, laws, and standards. This position’s primary purpose is to leverage the company’s information technology resources in the most efficient manner possible, thereby optimizing the productivity of all users and enabling management to make timely, accurate and informed decisions in all things related to the enterprise resource planning software. Assist VP of Information Technology and Senior Manager, Enterprise Services with scoping of projects aimed at achieving corporate objectives. Oversee design and administration of such projects, and coordinate with IT team to deploy them.
